FGBMFI President, Richard Shakarian, sounded the shofar to announce the "Year of Jubilee" for the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International. God is working in a new way around the world. At the convention we heard reports from various nations. For instance, Nigeria reported 808 chapters with over 18,000 members. Guatemala mentioned their 124 chapters with 8,000 members. Other countries expressed the new fresh fire of the Holy Spirit as they continue to start chapters while increasing their membership.

His Excellency, Luigi Allogli, the Archbishop from Rome and private envoy of the Pope, was a special guest of the Convention. He shared with us how excited he personally is about the work the Holy Spirit is doing through the business men within the FGBMFI. He ended with a blessing on the Convention.

A spiritual high for the week came when God brought us Gwen Shaw, President of the End-Time Handmaidens & Servants. She shared a testimony about how God had used the FGBMFI, and then went on speak a prophetic word, "I want to challenge you. God is not finished with you. This ministry, this calling of God, will not die. It is fueled with the flames of revival fire. It will continue. I would like to encourage you to set apart three days to fast and pray and seek God. If you will determine a certain time that the men of the Fellowship around the world will seek God in fasting for three days, I believe the windows of heaven will open over this Organization and that nothing that comes against it will prosper. You are needed in these days. You are needed as never before because this is going to be your finest hour and anointing.

On the final morning of the Convention there was a tremendous rally to support our witnessing tool, Voice Magazine! Many new orders were taken. Jim Stovall, from Tulsa, Oklahoma, a former National Weight Lifting Champion shared how God took him from the depths of despair after waking one morning and realizing he had lost most of his sight. By the grace of God, he has become head of a television network ministering to 13 million blind people. His complete story will appear in a later issue of Voice.
