On a mountaintop in Bali 8,000 people gathered to worship our Lord at the FGBMFI Indonesian National Convention and hundreds came to the altar.

It was a spectacular event as we celebrated the end of our 50th convention year.  It was in a massive open mountain theatre with high walls cut out of the mountain with an open sky.  Beautifully decorated with very colorful FGB signs and banners flooded with lights of all colors -  stage lighting and sound fit for a rock concert. Praise the Lord.

We exceeded the maximum attendance record in this place by thousands of people.

The people are so hungry for God.  They stood and wept by the thousands getting their hearts right with God.

FGBMFI Indonesia has produced a spectacular powerful anointed Convention.

I was so blessed.

INDONESIA

A great finish for the Bali Convention, the last night of our Convention. 900 leaders enjoyed a banquet around the pool with a spectacular program including traditional Bali dancers. One of the highlights was the installation of the newly elected board, their President and 3 new International Directors. They all knelt on the stage as I installed them into their office and gave them their charge.

The night before, 9,000 attended the high-energy meeting, which included an orchestra, praise music and fireworks.  Hundreds received the Lord. The Convention was held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel. Congratulations to President Mantiri and the Indonesia FGBMFI for the most spectacular National Convention Ron or I have ever seen.

THAILAND

President Komo Anton is doing a wonderful job building the Fellowship. Everywhere I spoke many received the Lord. Tears streamed down the faces of young and old as they came to Christ. Many important businessmen came.

Bangkok alone has 12 million people and only 1% know the Lord.  As I was witnessing to a handsome young security guard, I asked if anyone had prayed for him today. He said he was a Buddhist - I replied thats religion, but I am talking to you about God.  In a few minutes Komo was leading him to Jesus.

As we were videotaping for our soon-to-be-released worldwide TV Program, Ron, Komo and I stopped at one of the many slums.  400 families were jammed in tiny makeshift corrugated steel shelters - a real shantytown.  As we talked to the people, many children gathered.  An old man came by selling ice cream bars. We bought them all and soon many more children were running - coming from all over the slum to receive their free ice cream.  The Thai people are so gracious that as the little children received their ice cream each would bow to us.

Last night I spoke at our FGBMFI meeting in the very exclusive POLO Club.  When we arrived, I was very hot from working on TV all day outdoors in the muggy heat.  We took one look at the pool and showers and thought if its good enough for the Crown Prince, then its good enough for the Kings kids. After I showered and changed, we went into the
Exclusive Banquet.

People were there from many nations including Africa, Armenia, Iran, and Malaysia.  A troop of Christian performing actors came. Many received Christ including an Armenian and an Iranian.  Komo will be leaving us today to go to Cambodia. God has used him to raise up 30 chapters and 350 men in Cambodia.

MALAYSIA

We have just arrived in Malaysia.  This morning I had breakfast with the honorable Ambassador Datuk Liew Sip Hon, the former Ambassador to the USA.  He is one of our chapter Presidents. His 14-story chapter meets every week in his building, which is next to the tallest towers in the world.

Dont miss the World Convention at Abuja, Nigeria Aug 3 - 7.  It will be the largest gathering of Christian Businessmen and Women in the history of the world.

Indonesia is one of the most strategic nations.  It is a secular country with a majority of Moslems.  Rich in oil with 300 million people, it is a powerhouse for the future.

Ron came with me as we minister to the people of Asia.

Brother Mantiri, our National President is a former General and a former Ambassador.  He leads the FGBMFI with about 200 chapters involving several thousand businessmen.

There is a new fire of the Holy Spirit.  A Fire Team came here from Nigeria.  They not only spoke in chapters and businesses, but they also sponsored 10,000 Happiest People Books and 5 editions of Voice Magazines with one hundred thousand each edition.

They said: God sent them, and they brought a New Fire of the Holy Spirit that is burning brightly today. 

YES, THE LIGHT OF CHRIST IS SHINING IN INDONESIA.

FGBMFI - A GOOD REPORT

And a good report makes the bones healthy - Prov. 15:30.

Miklos Molnar, our Central European Vice President, and Humberto Arguello, our Latin American Vice President, teamed up to give this wonderful report from Eastern Europe.

Recently, this team went to several Central European nations including Poland, Bulgaria and Hungary.  In Bulgaria, a tremendous new fire has begun in FGBMFI.  They have begun fishing chapters. A fishing chapter in many cultures are men only, or in the Ladies chapters, ladies only.  They are not preaching chapters. They are testifying chapters.  The men prepared their testimonies to be a short, powerful, to-the-point and anointed.  And, these are all weekly meetings.

In Bulgaria, this new kind of chapter was started.  The first week, 45 new men came and they all accepted the Lord.  The second week, they continued to invite and another 45 new men joined the first group.  Again, 45 were saved.  By the end of the third week, 137 men accepted the Lord.  They are really beginning to grow.  They are reaching businessmen and workers in the Commercial Districts.  Men are attracted by the life-changing stories of our men.

The ladies meetings are having the same results and they are growing tremendously. 

There was a permanent revival going on in Nicaragua because of the Fire Team.  In one week, Micky tells me; more than 45,000 received the Lord that week.  

Our outreach in one country alone was running at a rate of one million accepting Christ each year.  Humberto tells me; they are now at 400 chapters going for 500 chapters this year. 

Fishing in this dimension requires continuous training for our leaders and men alike.  Micky says, I wish that you will also receive this fire and adopt this strategy.  We already see results.  To get this program started, it took only two committed men.  In less than 24 hours, we inaugurated a new chapter and a new strategy, which brought 47 men to Jesus in the next two weeks.

In Hungary, we began a chapter under this new strategy, 9 non-believers received the Lord in the first week.  Next week, we are inaugurating another new chapter as International Vice President for Central and Eastern Europe and as National President for Hungary, I must listen to what the Lord told our International President, Richard Shakarian, to do several years ago about the fire teams and outreach.  This revelation was originally given to Richard in Hungary and at that time the fire of the Holy Spirit was felt in our nation.  But we were not sensitive enough.

This revelation was also given by Richard to Central America and Nicaragua adopted the strategy of the fire teams and the permanent revival in obedience and that nation is being blessed with the Power of the Holy Spirit in a dimension that we cannot imagine unless we go there and we see Him in action.

Our FGBMFI 51st World Convention will be in Abuja, Nigeria - August 3-7.
It will be the largest gathering of Christian Business men and women in the history of the world.

I have traveled to Abuja many times. And, I have found that the easiest and quickest way has been to fly to London, or for that matter almost any major jet port in Europe, and then take a non-stop 6-hour flight to Abuja.  My combination is American Airlines and British Airlines, however Lufthansa, KLM, Air France and other airlines make the same trip. 

The Nigerian Brothers are making every provision for our personal safety and convenience.  The FGBMFI Nigerian Brothers will meet every International flight that comes in to Abuja.  They will take you to the hotel and look after you.

Press concerns about the safety of Nigeria happened hundreds of miles away and I am told has been taken care of.

Personally, I like the Hilton Hotel, which is also going to be the site of many of our events not conducted in the Stadium.  Other fine hotels feature more of the Nigerian Cuisine, and many are very nice.

Please come expecting your miracle from God.  There really is something special about Africa.  When you are in the presence of thousands of on-fire believers, your faith will soar like an eagle.  You will be lifted to the highest plateau singing in the Spirit with 60,000 African brothers and sisters, looking up in the stars, you will see the face of God.

In this time of National Solemnity in the USA, we remember the words of our Lord as He explained why He was to give His own life.  He said;  

Greater Love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends 
Saint John 15:13.  Jesus also said:

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

In my Fathers house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you.  I go to prepare a place for you.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.  And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know - Saint John 14: 1 - 4.

The Hope of Glory, the shining city of heaven has been promised by our Lord to every person that receives His forgiving sacrifice.

Around the world, tens of thousands of FGBMFI men and women are letting their light shine from the farms, from the towns, and from the cities. The light of Christ is shining brightly.

Regarding President Reagan:
An interesting story was told.  In the hospital room after he was shot, he wanted to pray for his own self.  President Reagan realized he must release his anger immediately. He then prayed for the young man who shot him and then he was able to pray for himself. 

One of his famous quotes was:

Whatever else history may say about me when I am gone, I hope it will record that I appealed to your best hopes, not your worst fears; to your confidence rather than your doubts.  My dream is that you will travel the road ahead with libertys lamp guiding your steps and opportunitys arm steadying your way.

RICHARD SHAKARIAN - A PERSONAL REFLECTION

Vangie and I met Ronald Reagan when he was Governor of California.
We were attracted by his vision of America as a shining city on a hill.

It is said by many that Ronald Reagan won the Cold War without firing a shot.

Those of us who lived through the terrible Cold War decades we remember Khrushchev at the U.N. pounding his shoe on the table trying to get his way. I remember Khrushchev bragging that with only three of his super H-bombs, he could destroy all of England. We also remember that Gorbachev, in conjunction with mass demonstrations in the U.S. and Europe, was determined to get the U.S. and Western Powers to disarm unilaterally.  President Reagan responded by offering to destroy all atomic weapons if the Soviets would do the same. When rejected he set on a course to strengthen the West.

President Reagan spoke of peace through strength. He spoke of the highest and best hope of mankind.  He stood at the Berlin Wall and said - Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall.  Not long after, the Berlin Wall came down, and the evil empire came to an end.

President Reagan is lovingly remembered by all who heard him speak.

Among his many quotes are:

The image of George Washington keeling in prayer in the snow is one of the most famous in American history.  He personified a people who knew it was not enough to depend on their own courage and goodness; they must also seek help from God, their Father and Preserver - December 24, 1983

He also said; when I saddle up and ride into the sunset it will be with the knowledge that we have done great things.  We kept faith with a promise as old as this land we love and as big as the sky.  A brilliant vision of America - as a shining city on a hill.  Thanks to all of you, and with Gods help, Americas greatest chapter is still to be written, for the best is yet to come - December 1, 1988

FGBMFI - REPORTS
RICHARD SHAKARAIN - HE IS THE GOD OF THE IMPOSSIBLE

Vangie and I were remembering some of the difficult moments in the FGBMFI.  How in each instance, we saw the deliverance of God. Yes, He is the God of the impossible.

We remembered the discouraging moments my father Demos went through. We remembered how God lifted Him and established the Fellowship.

We remembered how a few years ago when Satan was about to crush the FGBMFI, but God had prepared the blessing 20 years in advance through an unknown trust from an unknown man.  At the most critical moment the trust was given to the Fellowship. Once again, we then realized that God is the God of the impossible.  If you are waiting on God,  remember it might be God who is waiting on you.

By the spirit, we see entire nations changed.  We see millions coming out of darkness into the light of Christ.  We see the world not as it is, but as God sees it.  We hear the heart of God, as the Scriptures say; He is not willing that any should perish.   

The Mission is not over.  The need is still there.  We still hear the cry of those suffering in darkness.  Thank you for joining hands with us in this great harvest of souls.

NICARAGUA
It is impressive to me to know how this ministry every minute, every hour, each day there are wonderful acts occurring and all thanks to the Holy Spirit.

Jim Priddy USA Exec. V.P. There is a New Day in Norway.  We were hosted by Hans Petter, National President and his wife Carrie.  What a great couple and God is using them and others to expand the Fellowship in Norway.  Betty and I along with Roland and Traute Benz saw many healings and God touched so many as we prayed.  We all shared our testimonies on the First National FGBMFI TV Program.

We visited the Parliament House and met and prayed with leaders of Parliament.  We visited a local business, and the Chairman of the Board Frank Kaleb Jansen showed how they were mapping every city and house in the World.  What a surprise to sit in Norway and via satellite view locations and some in three D from around the world.  I had seen this many years ago due to my military background.  One of the goals is to reach every household with the Gospel. 

Tuesday night, we attended a FGBMFI Meeting and former National President of Norway Bjoren Roy Anderson used his garage for the meeting room, but the place was filled with old historic cars and what a site.  The Holy Spirit moved and many were healed, several for legs to be lengthen and some for depression, and after the meeting no one wanted to go home.

What a day Saturday was for FGBMFI in Norway, The Oslo FGBMFI men put a tent at the main train station and Voice Magazines were given, and many were invited to the nightly meeting in the Opera Hotel.  I talked to a body builder and informed him there were only two types of body builders in the world.  You guessed it.  He prayed and accepted Christ.  Others also received Christ and came to the nightly meeting.

On Saturday, a man who had been healed the night before and touched by the Holy Spirit and the Love of FGBMFI brought a love gift of 30,000 Kroner  approx $5,000 to bless the Convention.  This man had no job, no home but he wanted him to bless the Fellowship, because they had been so loving to him. 

Thanks again to Hans Petter, his wife and FGBMFI of Norway for a great Convention.

I greet you in the name of our precious Lord Jesus Christ. I trust that you and your family are receiving His greatest blessings as you serve Him.

I would like to talk about 2 upcoming events:
1st - Our 51st Annual World Convention is being celebrated in Abuja, Nigeria on August 3-7, 2004. The men of Nigeria have been hard at work preparing for your arrival. They have been traveling throughout their continent announcing this special gathering and are expecting that the new Pan African Sports Stadium in Abuja will seat over 40,000 people hear the testimonies and experience the miraculous as Jesus manifests God’s love to all.

This signals the beginning of a new season for FGBMFI. We are still enjoying the sweet fellowship and heartwarming ministry times from our 50th anniversary celebrated in Anaheim, California. At that gathering, God’s heartbeat of evangelism was the common thread throughout the participations of Mel Gibson, Benny Hinn, Reinhard Bonnke and the reports of God’s move in each nation.

Today, our 51st World Convention points the way to the explosion of evangelism that will be the trademark of our second century. Just as Demos saw in the vision God gave him, millions of people around the world will come into the Kingdom through the ministry of our Full Gospel Businessmen. Great miracles! Great Signs! Great Wonders! All of these are to be seen in our immediate future. Today, more people are being healed and set free through our chapters than at any time in our brief history. Cancers healed, heart problems disappearing, fear and torment being cast out- all these reports and more are coming in on a daily basis. I was just at a convention where almost every sick and tormented person present was healed and set free. These miracles are the door through which God’s love is coming into hearts. Never before are so many people being saved.  Let me encourage you to join with us in Abuja this August. All of Africa will be aflame because of this Miracle World Convention. Be a part of it!

FGBMFI - FAVOR IN BERLIN
RICHARD SHAKARIAN - Incredible favor in Berlin. 

We have always been blessed with favor to minister to the highest levels in Berlin.  This trip was no exception.  We met the ambassador from Taiwan to Germany Dr. Wei-jen HU, a wonderful Christian gentleman.  Later, I had the privilege of meeting the United States Ambassador to Germany Daniel R. Coats.  Both ambassadors have promised to come to our FGBMFI Germany Love Link.

At the United States Embassy, Vangie and I were accompanied by Thomas Hettinger and Col. Eugene Bird.  Col. Bird was the U.S. Military Commander of the Prison, which held the highest Nazi war criminals.  He discovered the secrets of  Hitlers mystical cult beliefs. 

Ambassador Wei-jen HU has a powerful Christian testimony and Ambassador Coats was greatly blessed by hearing the FGBMFI stories of changed lives and the stories of the Sandinistas.

We realized that we can reach the highest leaders in Berlin when we go back.

Jean-Pierre Witzman set up a very productive meeting with the FGBMFI Berlin leaders.

Thomas Hettinger was a great blessing to us as he picked Vangie and I up in his big car and escorted us through Berlin and Leipzig.

The German people have had their faith stolen.  First, it was the anti-Christian, anti-Jewish, anti-morality actions of the Nazi Elite.  Then, much of Germany was held by the anti God Communist forces, who took pride in blowing up churches. 

We are coming to restore that which has been stolen.
The original faith of the German people - this is their heritage.  

Berlin 1960:
It was Vangie and my 5th wedding anniversary, and I was 25 years old.  I had just finished speaking to Willie Brandt of Christ in his office as Berlin Mayor.  In 1969 he  became the Chancellor of Germany. We were in Berlin ministering in a large tent right next to the East Berlin border.  Night after night many were healed, others gave their life to Christ.  Others discovered the power of love for the first time.

The people were so appreciative.  On the last night, an old lady dressed in raggedy clothes came to the meeting from the Russian occupied East Berlin.  She brought a gift for Vangie and I, it was the best gift she could offer and the most precious gift we have ever received.  It was an egg.  It was the most precious thing she had.  We took this egg back to our hotel.  It was August 6th, our 5th anniversary.  We sat there in our room looking at that precious egg. As we thought of that little lady and we could not hold back the tears.

We go back to Berlin with a great gift.  The most precious gift we have.  It is the gift of love.  The gift of the knowledge of God.  The gift of faith.  And, the gift of salvation and healing.

We had a special visit to the Nicoli Church in the Center of Leipzig.  This is where the desire for freedom from the Russian occupation was born.  We sat in the office of Pastor Christian Fuhrer, he was the pastor during these historic events.  He explained how a movement which began with 5 young people, mostly non-believing green haired youth sitting on the floor of his church, turned into a peaceful demonstration of hundreds of thousands of people holding candles demonstrating for peace and freedom.  Every Monday night, they clogged the whole city standing silently, standing peacefully, not even a baby cried, but the message was clear and soon the Berlin Wall came down.

RICHARD SHAKARIAN - LEADERSHIP MEANS . . . THEY NEED NOT DEPART

A wonderful healing took place Friday night as Vangie and I ministered at the U.K. National Convention in Wales.

Billy Lincoln, a big, powerful and tough ex - Legionnaire was sitting at the back of the auditorium in pain.  3 years ago, he suffered a major injury to his knee.  After an operation the raw bone continuously pressed against the remaining part of his kneecap causing pain and forcing Billy to walk with a special crutch.  As I spoke, faith came up in Billys heart.

I said, . . Someone is healed right now. . who is it . .
Its me. . its me. . Billy shouted from the back of the auditorium.  He ran to the front waving his special crutch in the air.  With 1 giant step, he was on the stage 1 meter high.  And, he was completely healed.

Leadership; you are called. . to be an ever greater leader.  You can receive restoration and healing. . for finances. . for family. . for physical healing. . just like Billy.

In Bulgaria, Romania Russia, Czechoslovakia were Micky Miklos, Central Europe Reg. V.P. along with Humberto Arguello and the Nicaraguan Fire Teams. . many got saved.

FGBMFI - HEALED FROM CANCER
RICHARD SHAKARIAN - FIRE RALLY

Zsolt Libor, a member of the Hungarian Secret Service had received a massive dose of radiation in a terrible training accident.  Zsolt comes from a very famous military family.  There were 9 generals in his family including his father.  They immediately rushed to help him and the approximately 30 men of his unit.

One by one the members of the unit died of cancer.  There were only two left.  His father purchased the burial plot for Zsolt.

It was then that Zsolt heard about our Fire Conference near Munich.  The hospital doctors told him to come back on Friday for surgery.  He said, NO.  I am going to Munich on Friday and Jesus is going to heal me. 

As I stepped up to speak that Friday night, I felt a tremendous burst of expectancy from the audience.  The anointing of the Holy Spirit seemed to cover the room like a tent.

They brought Zsolt up for prayer.  I did not know his problem but Jesus knew both his problem and his cure.  As I laid my hands upon him, he was overcome with the anointing of the Holy Spirit.  Much later that night, when he got to the room.  He felt hungry.  He had hardly been able to keep much food down, but now he was eating spicy Hungarian sausages with the other Hungarians in the middle of the night.

NO CANCER - Three hospitals checked  - NO CANCER

The military began to question him.  They wanted to know, why out of his entire unit, he was the only one that lived.  They also wanted to know what happened to his cancer.  They could not believe that the answer was JESUS.

Yes, the atonement from Christ . .
 . . .is for more than just the washing away of sins.
 . . .it is for your forgiveness, for your healing, for your relationship with God.
As your relationship with God straightens out, He will bless your life.

This year took on a new look, new people came.  One of the men said it changed his life. He came not knowing what to expect.  The doctor said he had MS and fear had taken over.  He said there with his head down and his body showing signs of weakness, but Jesus quickly took care of that. God touched him, his head was held up high. With a smile on his face and joy in his hear.

One of the men began to sing in the spirit in the front of the chapel. It sounded like we were hearing him in stereo.  In the back of the room, another man who had not been filled with the spirit was on the floor filled to overflowing, singing the same song and the same words as the man in the front.  Yes, life changing, healings and blessings.

Richard, every month we have a FGBMFI breakfast at the Marriott Hotel.  About 6 months ago, I invited a couple from a business partnership to come to our breakfast.  They both got saved and filled with the Holy Ghost.  They have been attending every month.  This past month they brought their son who is about 20 years old.  He just got out of jail and looked sad and depressed.  So, we encouraged him, and prayed for him and he got saved.  This month he returned to our breakfast and shared how God has been so good to him.  He got a job, and is very happy walking with Jesus.  Praise the Lord - Gilbert Markarian.

From Shaneen Clarke - and update on awomanscall - at the beginning of the year we had a Power breakfast in the City - God in the Workplace.  We had five series at the Café Royal in London, for men and women, these series were to stimulate and educate the Entrepreneurial Spirit in the 21st Century.  Speakers were proven Entrepreneurs, men and woman.

Lives that have been transformed, Jane - Greek background has got saved, Avril - Jewish businesswoman, alcoholic - saved, Vera Greek Orthodox background, saved and Margaret proved healing for AIDS, amongst many other stores.

Sweden was a success for FGB, there is a freshness of vision arising in Europe and the hunger is increasing. I believe we are now tapping into a new level of anointing.  We are going to see miracles in the workplace in our everyday life, like never before; I am speaking of the book of Acts in the streets of the world.

BELGIUM
For a period we have been praying with the new FGB youth chapter to have a breakthrough in schools in Belgium.  My son Brecht had a meeting with one of his teachers concerning FGBMFI and at the end of April or the beginning of May he is allowed to come with a team and to have an FGB meeting during the lessons for all the last years of high School.  They will provide a large auditorium.  Praise God.  As the school where this will take place is very well known and respected in the area, this can open doors to a lot of others all over Belgium - Koen Van Neste.

HONDURAS
A team of seven people, led by David Soleim, is leaving for Honduras for a seven-day airlift on April 30.  They will be working with Jimmy Hughes.

FRANCE

HE IS NOT DEAD

In Africa, a pastor told me of a young lad in his church.  The lad got sick and died. 
In the home family and friends grieved.  They stood around the body and cried.  The younger brother kept telling his dad - HE IS NOT DEAD.

But the boy was dead.  He was not breathing. His flesh became cold and stiff.  All day the adults grieved, but the young children spent the day praying that life would come once again.

As the sun went down, cries of sorrow could be heard as weeping endured through the dark night.  The next morning as final preparations were being made, the children began to pray.  Suddenly, sorrow left and joy came upon the young people.  They began to shout and sing with joy and victory.  They sang - David was a mighty king and he danced before the Lord.  They sang and danced around the body of the lad.  As they were going around, one of the young men grabbed the hand of the dead lad and pulled him. 

The lad who was dead came alive.  He said, what is going on?  Why are you dancing around me?  FAITH TRIUMPHED.  Now we can all shout.
HE IS NOT DEAD.

God can do the same for you.  Your hopes, your dreams, your marriage, your health will be restored by God as you believe.  Do not let go.  Do not accept the destruction of Satan.  Hold on to the Lord.

Jesus does not change - yesterday, today, tomorrow, He is always totally Himself - Heb 13:8 Mess.

Bless the Lord
Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies - Ps 103.

But the fact is, it was our pains He carried - our disfigurements.  All the things wrong with us.  We thought He brought it on Himself, that God was punishing Him for His own failures.  But it was our sins that did that to Him, that ripped and tore and crushed Him -our sins.  He took the punishment, and made us whole.  Through His bruises we get healed.  We are all like sheep who have wandered off and gotten lost.  We have all done our own thing, gone our own way.  And God has piled all our sins, everything we have done wrong, on Him, on Him - Isa 53: 4-6 Mess.

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed - Isa 53:5 KJV.

For I am the Lord that healeth thee - Ex 15: 26, KJV.

Yes, I am really looking forward to ministering to you

Come expecting a miracle.

Saturday night, at our Convention in New England, Jack Coe was speaking about the greatness of God.  He spoke of John 10:10 that God is an abundant God.  That the earth is the Lords and the fullness thereof.  That He is El - Shaddai, the God of More Than Enough.  That in Ephesians 3:20, He answers above all we can ask or think. 

That it is Gods will for you is to succeed, to be well, to be happy. Ps 37:27 - Let them shout for joy, let the Lord be magnified who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.

Magnify the Lord, make Him bigger than your situation.  See that God is bigger than your problem.  Yes, everything I lay my hands on is blessed.  The curse is broken. 

Right in the middle of his message, in conservative quiet New England, the glory broke out.  Shouts of praise and joy could be heard, weeping and forgiveness took place.  People began running forward to give money so that their budget could be met.  In a few minutes, testimonies broke forth. People who had given said they have already received back.  Some as much as seven times.  Others gave and immediately someone else gave to them.  A woman with a bad leg was running and jumping with great joy.  Her pain was gone.  She was fired up and completely transformed. 

How sweet it is when men dwell together in unity Ps 133:3.  Needless to say, the budget was met with a surplus. People were on fire.  The Conservative New Englanders were shouting praises to God with great joy.

Yes, the drought is broken.  Believe that God means what He says in His word.  You can magnify the Lord, your faith will see Him as greater than your situation, He is able to meet your need TODAY.

God has a perfect will for you.  His redemption includes freedom from sin, sickness, and oppression of every kind.  King David said, shout for joy and be glad, and say continually, let the Lord be magnified, who takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servant - Ps 35:27.

Believe it, receive it, repeat it, shout it from the housetops.  Gods plan for you is greater than you know.  Take this word for your career, your business, your finances, your health, your family, your children, and yes, you can have LIFE WITHOUT LIMITS.

Our Chapter has been experiencing revival for about 9 months.  Once a month, we have kids come from the orphanage, detention center, teen pregnancy homes, and adults from homeless shelters to our Friday night Dinner.  Many received Christ as their Savior and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit - Jim.

TEXAS
Saturday our Fort Sam Houston Chapter Breakfast Meeting was attended by 375 young service people of the US Army 32nd Medical Brigade.  48 responded to the invitation for Christ to come into their hearts.  May 8th, our annual Military breakfast at the Marriott, we will host 750-1000 young military personnel from all service branches. The keynote speaker is Major General R. L. Van Anthwerp.   His testimony includes the direct hit on his Pentagon office Sept 11, 2001.

FROM THE DETROIT FREE PRESS - Looking for strength, faced with a deadly rash of violence, Detroit officers join in prayer.
Monday morning for one hour, Detroit Police officers listened to sermons saying that prayer coupled with community involvement-is the only solution to the cities surge of horrific crimes.  The police officers then held hands and prayed together.  The Police Department has allotted one hour each Monday at each of the department 13 precincts.

2 Billion Christians around the world are remembering our Lord as they celebrate the Passion Week of Christ.  Together we remember the Last Supper, the Garden of Gethsemane, The Trial, The Crucifixion and the Joyous Resurrection.

On this day at the Last Supper, Christ taught His followers to love one another and washed the Apostles feet.

Mel Gibsons movie THE PASSION is encouraging Christians everywhere and shocked the entertainment industry.  Over 30 million Americans have already seen The Passion. 

The movie industry thought it would be a big flop.  They have been proven completely wrong.  The Passion has grossed 431 million dollars and is headed for one billion.  This is driving the God-hating critics crazy.

It seems incredible but these few words from the Bible can change your life.  These words will bring healing, favor, promotion, and blessing to you.  When you have faith in God, He also has faith in you. 

When Satan tries to put sickness on your body, remember your body belongs to God.  Remember, when your business is attacked, that your business belongs to God.  When your family is attacked, remember, your family belongs to God.  The Israelites of old, before they were led out of the bondage of Egypt, they put the blood of the Lamb over the doorpost of their home.  In prayer, you can draw a bloodline around your family, your business, and your body.  Yes, God wants to honor your faith.  Remember, If ye have faith. .  nothing shall be impossible unto you - Matt 17:20.

Studies have shown that in many instances, attitudes are more important than facts.  If you give in to the feeling that you are defeated, you will be.  When you spend time with God, and are strong in your faith in God, He will release power that will astonish you.  Favor and power are yours.

FIRE TEAMS IN JINOTEGA NICARAGUA
58,101 salvations in 2.537 meetings.
Incredible, what anointing, what joy, miracles and salvations.  A diseased woman with an issue of blood, was healed.  She came down from the mountain carried by two men in a hammock because she could not walk.  There was no doctor, but the FGBMFI were there and prayed and she was healed.  In another place, two deaf received their hearing and many were delivered. 

RAITI, NICARAGUA
Raiti was one of the towns under witchcraft.  When our men got to Raiti, no one would even talk to them because they do not like foreigners.  But a young man who was very sick was delivered. When the people saw this, they opened up to our men and 2,108 got saved - Humberto Arguello.

GUATEMALA
Dear Richard, in Guatemala this week, we are going to 10,000 patients in our public hospitals.  We are going under the power of the Holy Spirit.  25 FGBMFI Chapters of Guatemala have banded together to hold events in 45 hospitals.  250 men and 45 translators are needed - Dr. Antonio Berros, Director of Ministry of Hospitals.

God was grieved when the people of Israel would not accept His plan of land and wealth by going into Canaan.

They had cried out to Him for deliverance from Egyptian bondage, but when He wanted them to go into the land, which flowed in its best, they would not go in.

Oh, yes, they believed Him enough to call on Him for deliverance and to follow Him out of captivity . . .
They believed Him enough to follow Him through the Red Sea. . . 
They believed Him enough to come all the way to the edge of the blessing. . .
They followed Him this far and this long. 

Then why does God say, He was grieved with them and their evil heart of unbelief..  It was because they did not believe He would follow through with His promise to give them His best .. His land and its great wealth.

King David said, He raiseth up the poor out of the dust and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill - Ps 113:7.

The Prophet Samuel said, He raiseth up the poor out of the dust and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory, for the pillars of the earth are the Lords, and He hath set the world upon them - I Sam 2:8.

Moses said, The Lord shall open unto thee His good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in His season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow - Deut 28:12.

A friend of mine goes to prayer meetings with me.  She likes the Fellowship and the music, but she does not see why she should pray in tongues.  What should I say to her?

Your friend s feelings are common among people.  They enjoy much of the enthusiasm of the Charismatic Renewal, but perhaps fail to grasp the deeper things that are happening when we come together.  We must begin by saying praying in tongues is not a matter of salvation. I like to tell people they do not have to pray in tongues, they get to pray in tongues.  It should not be a burden, but a joy. Praying in tongues is a gift from God to assist us in our prayer.  St. Paul tells us that we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit itself intercedes with inexpressible groanings. . . it intercedes according to God s will (Rom 8:26-27.

You see, the Holy Spirit who lives in us knows things about our lives and circumstances that even we do not understand.  Also, the Holy Spirit is perfectly in line with Father s will, When the Holy Spirit prays, the prayer is enlightened and pure, far superior to anything we could offer on our own.

Central London- FGBMFI Men s breakfast Last Saturday hosted by the Mayfair Kensington and Chelsea Chapters with Martin Clarke as Chairman and Graham Tromans as Vice Chairman.  The brother Geert was led through the salvation prayer along with others after the breakfast.  Geert is a well known Football Club Manager and later held political posts in the ministry of labor.

24th Georgia Men s Advance-These two weekends was the most powerful and greatest we have ever experienced.  The combined two-week attendants were approximately 2,500 men- Jimmy Rogers.

Washington D.C.-Dear Richard, I wanted to thank you for the awesome experience I had at the Full Gospel Business Men s Fellowship Conference here in Washington, D.C.  The Spirit of God moved so mightily during those three days.  Receiving the Honorary Lifetime Membership into the FGBMFI was something not planned or anticipated, but well received-Nathan D. Wilson.

Washington D.C- I felt the quality of the meetings was great.  I was particularly impressed with the spiritual depth of the Congressmen from Virginia and North Carolina, that spoke the opening evening, they did a great job.  Perhaps the most outstanding speaker of the convention was the FBI Chaplain Steve Davis.  I was amazed with the depth of Biblical teaching that he is giving to the FBI Academy and those agents who come to him for Council.  Add to these speakers the prayer ministry of Nathan Wilson who has 200 intercessors praying for the President and the Congress, and it gives me renewed hope for the nation-Bob Bignold.

Sometimes, we find ourselves waiting for an answer from God.
We are waiting for the Heavens to open, and the refreshing heavenly rains
to come down upon us.  Listen - The sound of an abundance of rain.  It is coming.

We received this encouraging email from John and Charlotte Carrette.

As I was with Moses, so I will be with you.  As I was with your father, so I will be with you.  The vision will be fulfilled exactly as I showed it.  The harvest will be exceedingly abundant.  Eph.3:20-21.

This weekend, Vangie and I went to see The Passion.  We saw it in the private showing with Mel Gibson many months ago, and the power of this film is epic.

FGBMFI - 51st WORLD CONVENTION
RICHARD SHAKARIAN - ABUJA, NIGERIA

This will be a historic Convention with 60,000 people in attendance.
Ron Weinbender and Roy Brian just returned from Abuja, Nigeria.

Roy Brian s report is as follows:
WOW, what a trip.  We were so warmly received and hosted by the local members that the camaraderie gave me a glimpse of the worldwide mission of FGBMFI.  I was so impressed with the in-depth preparation our leaders in Nigeria have already made for the 2004 World Convention in August.  Their dedication and attention to detail will assure a successful event.  In everything they did, I was humbled by these people of faith, whose servant s hearts are committed to the things that are important to God.

The Nicon Hilton-Abuja, which is very much like luxury hotels in the USA, will serve as our headquarters.  Western friendly, it has shopping outlets and several restaurants featuring a variety of menus, including poolside dining around a beautiful outdoor swimming pool.  The 7 am to 11 pm Business Center offers access to home and business via the Internet.

Our site visit included touring the new state-of-the-art stadium where we will hold our evening rallies that can easily accommodate the expected walk-up attendance of over 60,000 people.  As is customary for world conventions, our registered attendees will have the opportunity to participate in various breakout teaching sessions as well as scheduled meal functions with guest speakers.

The government of Nigeria welcomes our upcoming World Convention in Abuja.  We had the opportunity to meet with Chaplain Obaje, who represents the Head-of-State, President Obasanjo, on all religious matters.  Mr. President is a Christian and teaches Bible Study on Sundays, which we were invited to attend.  At the following worship service in the presidential compound, I was personally asked to do a scripture reading before the congregation.  What an honor.

I am looking forward to returning in August and I encourage anyone who wants to capture the Vision as it continues to unfold, to make plans now for our FGBMFI 51st World Convention in Abuja, Nigeria.

Vangie and I just returned from Israel.  Favor, Favor, Favor.

It was a time of meeting many new Friends, Leaders, Relationships and Favor.

The Love Link to Israel

We discovered that our experience in Israel was much fuller and richer than we could have possibly imagined.  Our experience included not only the places where Jesus and the prophets taught, but also included Israel today.  From meeting the Prime Minister to meeting members of the Kennesset, to Israeli Media, to worshipping in the great Synagogue of Jerusalem, to the new archaeological sites, to conversations with Chief Rabbi of France, to meeting the soldiers, business people and ordinary men and women.  It was an absolutely incredible experience.

Now understanding more about Israel, I can clearly see the great dilemma that faces the Jewish people.

I will be working to make our shared experience in Israel the greatest time of your life.  We believe it is extremely important for our friends to have the same experience that Vangie and I had in order to fully understand the Israeli people, and to properly appreciate the Holy Places.

FGBMFI - AIRLIFT TO INDONESIA
RICHARD SHAKARIAN - FGBMFI AIRLIFT

Gideon Esurua reports, Indonesia Airlift Team Leader reports:

First, I want to confirm that the Lord heard and answered all your prayers and did exceedingly abundantly more than your requests and thoughts for the airlift and we give Him all the glory for it.

The Lord showed us His awesome power and miracles every step of the way. At every turn He thoroughly humbled us.

Eleven of us including three couples were on this first airlift. 80% of us on this trip got our monies on the week of the trip. One of us had his ticket confirmed for a latter flight on a different day, but the Lord made sure he flew with us as a team. In Dubai, his untagged luggage was lost, but the One whose eyes runs to and fro the earth located the luggage and it arrived Jakarta and we suffered no loss as He promised.

At Jakarta airport we passed through immigration and customs without queuing or having our luggage checked. We were under divine diplomatic immunity. The Indonesian reception and hospitality was remarkable. The Lord indeed went ahead of us all and made a way.

We had 24 meetings excluding prayer walk & voice walks in Bali. Below is a breakdown of the meetings: Couples Banquet:4, Men s Luncheon:1, Breakfast Meeting:3. We also had Pastors Breakfast at Bali where this year s National Convention will be held:1, Ladies of the Fellowship Tea: 3,Training:4,Prayer Meeting with National Board: 1,in Churches:8. We had review meetings with the FGBMFI leadership in Jakarta, Surabaya and Bali.

An effectual door of ministry was opened to us in the churches. We were able to share the FGBMFI vision, our personal testimonies, the Lord s doings in Nigeria and the place and role of the Christian Businessman in the end time harvest of souls. We were also led to pray for the needs of the church and members. We were well received by all the Pastors. In fact, Pastor Dave Kenney of the Assemblies of God Church IES in Jakarta, gave us 3 slots in different services. His message that Sunday was on the FGBMFI vision where he used us as examples of what the Lord expects believers to do in the marketplace. Every Church was also a channel of distribution for the voice magazines, which was aptly titled 'There is Hope'.

Our International President, Richard Shakarian wrote a perfectly crafted foreword for Voice magazines which captured the essence of the airlift and the fellowship s Love Link.

We realized that most of the churches did not take altar calls and most of the members were at best nominal Christians. We also extracted commitment from the
Members, that after reading the Voice magazines they would give same to their colleagues at work. Many got interested in the FGBMFI, made enquiries and we extracted definite commitment from them to be part of the vision.

We had 211 miracles of salvation, 19 of these were rededications, 234 Holy Ghost baptism and 182 healings.

Out of 100,000 voice magazines printed, 12,000 copies were distributed with 5,000 being distributed in the city of Bali alone. Many people responded to the words of knowledge given us by the Lord. Many were prayed for, blessed and encouraged by our testimonies. The Holy Spirit was at work mightily as many were slain and weeping because of His love and touch. There were lots of deliverances in the area of failed marriages, forgiveness, fear, suicide, barrenness, business failure etc.

We commenced our program with a prayer meeting with the National Board where prayers of repentance for the Nation and for the Body of Christ were offered. We also prayed and covenanted each of the Voice magazines 100,000 copies and The Happiest People On Earth 10,000 copies to bring in the harvest of souls. Also, later that evening we had a Couples banquet that was well attended.

People came very expectant and we had 32 salvations and through the Word of Knowledge Testimony, and a man with a serious marital problem was delivered by the Lord.

The training sessions went on particularly well. The Leaders were very eager and enthusiastic, and they were filled by the Holy Spirit. As regards the Indonesia Airlift vision, the Surabaya or East region seems to be running with it the most. Between the time of my surveillance trip in August-Sept and January this year, this region had grown the number of chapters from 120 to 150 chapters.

Some of the outstanding testimonies were of healings, business breakthroughs and deliverances. In Surabaya, a lady with a big tumor in her neck and was diagnosed
with Cancer stood out for prayers. She was weeping throughout the prayers. The next day at a Couples Dinner banquet in Malang; the speaker who was the MC at the Surabaya Couples Dinner the day before told how over the night the Lord healed the lady and the cancer disappeared. At that meeting we had the highest number of salvations: 38, and we believe all that came out for healing were all healed.

In Bali, a man that was coughing blood and afflicted with diabetes was healed at the Couples Dinner and testified during the training meeting 2 days later. Our host and guide was also blessed with a major business breakthrough while he was working with us all day.

For me the most remarkable encounter was when some of us decided to go and eat at a Chinese place at about 10pm on the day we had the voice walk in Bali. Our Host, Doddy Laurent, always sensitive in the Spirit approached one of the workers and shared the love of Jesus with her. She ended up agreeing she wanted to be prayed for because her parents were having problems in their marriage. The three ladies in our group, and the wife of our host took it up. Two other girls joined in. The 3 Hindu girls were led to Christ and confessed Him as their Lord and Savior. The owner of the place, a Muslim with a slightly aggressive look informed our host that he was always feeling depressed. Doddy asked him if he wanted us to pray with him because God was ready to set him free. He agreed. The Lord also identified another young man that needed prayers of deliverance to Festus. We led them to Christ, and it was a marvel to see both accept the Lord Jesus into their
lives, especially the Muslim owner of the business. We prayed for them to be baptized in the Holy Ghost. After this prayer, both of them testified of a blinding intense light overwhelming them the moment we laid hands on them to receive the Holy Ghost. The glorious transformation on their faces was evident for all to see. The hate and anger in the eyes and face of the owner was gone and was replaced by a soft gentle peaceful look that ONLY Jesus can give. In this unique meeting 5 persons came to the saving knowledge of Christ.

TALK OF DIVINE APPOINTMENT- A visible manifestation that FGBMFI-Indonesia has caught the vision and God s plan for that nation as the DOOR in which the Lord wants to use reach out to the continent of Asia can be noticed in the theme of their National Convention slated for June 23rd-25th, 2004 'BE TRANSFORMED TO BLESS THE NATIONS'.

Only when FGBMFI Indonesia fulfils the prophetic mandate of this theme will our job be done. Please remember the unsaved souls, FGBMFI vision and the nation of Indonesia daily in your prayers.

FGBMFI - THE PRIME MINISTER
RICHARD SHAKARIAN - ISRAEL

Today I had the great honor of meeting the Prime minister of Israel, Ariel Sharon.

We had a private meeting in the Cabinet Room for over an hour. There were also members of the Cabinet with him.

It was a privilege to be chosen for this meeting from 1,000 leaders attending the Conference organized by the Government.

The Prime Minister told us that he is ready to start a major effort toward peace.

Included were Jack Hayford, Michael Little, President of CBN and Ted Haggard.

Israeli Government T.V. spokesman Raanan Gissin later told me, that what I had to say in the meeting stood out, because I spoke from my heart.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem as the peace of Jerusalem affects the peace of the whole world.

Pray for the International Office and the Staff as we reach out in love to Israel.

Pray that God will raise up an army full of His love to go with FGBMFI in our love link to bless Israel.

Pray that God will minister to President George Bush and Prime Minister Ariel Sharon in love and wisdom as they prepare for peace plan.

The Lord really led us when we re-established the annual Washington D.C. International Regional Conference.  This was a good beginning and God showed His approval in a wonderful way.  It seemed like the Spirit of God settled over all of us together and brought each of us great peace, unity with each other and a very special anointing. It must have been like that in the Upper Room, and now a week later, we still feel that incredible peace, unity and anointing.

I felt especially led to the Supreme Court to pray. It was during that visit that I began to understand the spiritual problem involved at the Court.  I am issuing a call to prayer for the United States Supreme Court.  Let us pray from all over the world. Let us give God no rest until a new philosophy of morality and spiritual values enters this Court.

The Conference, the outreaches, the ministry to leaders, the times of sight seeing and the anointed Directors meeting made this one of the most enjoyable Conferences ever. I hope everyone is able to come next year.

It was excellent.
Previously, I had a negative opinion about the people serving in Washington, D.C. The first morning as the 3 members of Congress spoke to our Conference, I realized their sincerity and conviction as they told of their struggles, their concerns, and their personal testimony of Christ.  The Christians there really do care about what happens, and they are praying for us.  It was inspiring; it changed my whole outlook about government. We prayed for people in the Congress and then walked around the entire Capitol praying.  I especially enjoyed praying at the Supreme Court.

The JOY of the Lord was certainly with us as we walked the Halls of Congress praying for the Congressmen and the Staff.  Real unity came down over all of our Directors, just like a warm blanket from heaven.  I have never felt such unity before.  We were extremely impressed by the messages of the Congressmen and FBI Chaplain.  What a great feeling of accomplishment as we had spiritual impact on the Leaders of our nation. I felt like it was just what we businessmen should be doing.

My phone has been ringing off the hook. And my email box is jammed.  The word is out, everyone is planning on coming next year.  Truly the love of God went forth like a great Love Link from us to people all over the capitol.  I felt by touching the Leadership in our Capitol, we are touching the nation. The Board Meeting was an exercise of Love and Unity. Unity of faith - Unity of purpose  - No other agenda. Everyone showing Love for each other.  One man from Baltimore said  I have not felt the Holy Spirit like that for years.

I was totally blessed. 15 Staff came for Jerry DeFlorio and I to pray. It is a real blessing to the Lord - to call in His glory upon the nation. It meant a lot to the Christians who work there on Capitol Hill.It just strengthened God in them. I felt like we were rising up and doing battle.

There were a lot more Believers in Washington D.C. than I ever dreamed. Now we have to pray for them that God will raise them up into positions of leadership.  They got a new realization that there are many Christians praying for them. This was the most harmonious I have seen since I have been in the Fellowship. A fantastic move of God.  Tremendous unity among the Directors and their wives. They were all ministering to each other.  This Conference brought a real peace upon me. A real peace about the Fellowship, where we are going, and that all of us are in the same direction together.  We prayed for Barney Frank s office. The State Department office asked us for continual prayer. They said we need prayer and our country needs it.  By the way, we have a new chapter in Hanoi, Vietnam.

There was not any hindrance to the free flow of the Holy Spirit.It was not worked up. It just began to fall upon the people.  Margaret and I were greatly blessed.  I believe the vision is re-kindled as we take this golden opportunity to reach people in the government. I was amazed at the security measures. It really affected me to realize we are living in such grave times.  One of the congressmen was not in, they called him at his home, we prayed for him and he told us how much he appreciated that prayer.

Businessmen called to the Capitol.  A great beginning.  We lifted up Jesus in the Halls of Congress and we saw Him draw all men to Him.  A real feeling of the Fellowship gaining ground.  After I prayed for a young lady, she gave me her card and I realized that she was on the White House Staff. We
