Testimonies from Honduras Fire Teams

J. HUGHES: Well it was a very exciting time. The fire of God, the presence of God. The name of Jesus was exalted all throughout the nation. Richard got off the plane with Vangie and some other people. It was an amazing time that we had in the Lord. God opened up doors that would not normally be opened up. Normally by normal channels. And it was amazing that were able to go into the highest levels of the military and Richard was able to speak into all the generals and officers of the military, the Air force, the army and the navy. So it was something that was amazing, because that was something that was not normally done, something that through normal channels can’t be open. So hundreds and hundreds of military men and officers heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ, were touched by the message. All the media and TV stations opened up in the nation which was another miracle - We were able to get Richard into the Congress to speak into all Congress, which has never been done before. Never in the history of Honduras at that level. So it was just a miracle of God.. They were all impressed, they were touched by the presence of God once again and the presence and the fire of God. The presence and the fire of God. It was amazing to see how God opened up the doors that not normally be opened up.

We went into the prisons, the business areas and streets and the hospital and people were healed. People were saved. Businesses were turned around from poverty to prosperity Young people at the schools were touched by the testimonies of the different people that participated. The young people, the businessmen, women and it was just a great powerful move of God.. It was team work, a lot of people involved, lot of coordination, lot of communication, even though sometimes things do not go the right way, God opens the doors that makes it happen. It was just amazing to see the love of God and the backing of God. God backs you up. When God does something it has to be perfect. When God authorizes something like this invasion 2000, you know that Gods is going to back you up. God backed us all up and it was tremendous outpouring of the presence of Jesus.. The name of Jesus will be exalted all throughout the nation. And different business men came in from different places and everybody got a chance to give their testimony ,to share and to be involved in one thing or another. And it was really important to see how everybody got the opportunity to be able to share their testimony and the Word of God that he places in everybody’s life.

 JH: Maybe going into the prisons with a team of about 40 Full Gospel  Business Men and women businessmen.. It has never been done that way before either because the prisons you know they are very delicate. We were allowed to drive up right to the front gate. And the prison official were and all the administration and policemen of the prisons were touched by the testimonies. The was a big uprising (?) of gang members who massacred many people few month ago and all these gang kids were under lock and key, locked up like animals and as I prayed and have been working with those people there in the prison. The Lord opened the door to prisons and authorized me to take in the Full Gospel Business Men and women that were there. We were able to go to the most notorious and the most dangerous .. of the gang kids there in Honduras. And take Jesus and love. They were hugged, kissed, and it was just bringing tears into the eyes of everybody and that in particular was very touching because it was something that is in everyday normal walk of life that even Christians or whoever can go into those places. We were given total cooperation and the doors were opened up as wide as you can imagine. So for me that was amazing to see how all those gang kids were hugged and loved by the business men and thank God that he gave us favor so that we were able to open up those doors.

 It is amazing to know deep God’s love is and how far the love of God can go. These gang people in the prisons, most of them and a lot of them, they are tatooed from their face down and it is really sad and devastating, heart breaking to see such diabolic, satanic thing, on their bodies. Several of the boys had made a deal with satan and they have tatooed on their forehead 666 representing the ... street gang and a symbol of the antichrist. But when we preached the gospel of Jesus and shared the testimony with those young kids, they saw the love of God. And they opened the doors to their hearts to receive Jesus, and even asked if we could get some machines to maybe erase the tatoos, the satanic tatoos off of their faces. Even though they are risking their lives and they can be killed because they have the wars in the gangs, that they cannot accept Jesus, not that they do not believe in him but they cannot accept him because they had made a deal with violence and fighting and the devil. Even under those circumstances the power and the love of God penetrated this boy with the 666 on his forhead and he said the sinners prayer, accepted Jesus into his heart, praise God. And We are going back there to have a follow up on this and so the love of God penetrates even the most ugly things that we could imagine in our lives. Amen.

 JOE ORTEGA FROM HOUSTON, TEXAS. -  one of the highlights was ; when we went to the college to share our testimonies, there were a lot of kids who came forward. And you could feel the weeping and one of them I remember came over to say: “ Thank you very much for coming and asking us to pray that prayer - he said because I was at the point where I did not know what to do.  And I thank God that he has answered my prayer and I was pretty touched by it. The other thing was there was a ... that we went into his home and his father, builds quite a few alcoholic anonymous places and this guy had been an alcoholic and he said; The church, nor the counseling that my father gave me they did not help at all but when I came to the Full Gospel dinner and there I would see salvation, deliverance and the baptism in the Holy Spirit. And he asked me if I can go and pray for his dad. So we went and the glory of the Lord was in that house and it was just fantastic. The man had unforgiveness. I mean the word came, the Lord spoke to me as I was speaking to him and it was the word of knowledge and then it came forth and I praying and it was just awesome. The family of that man was reconciled. The man and the son. The other witness was that we were going and going and knowing that we would start early in the morning till late at night and you don’t really get tired and you really don’t get hungry. We would start early in the morning till late at night because in the Father’s business. And that was the exciting part, just being involved to the point that you did not even count how many people. I would say that I myself was able to lead at least 400 people to the Lord. It was incredible how God is there and He got the people ready.

 ANDREW KAMINSKI - I am the International Director for Full Gospel Prison Ministry. And I was all over the world and I just had a privilege of being down in Honduras with a lot of people from all over the world, involved in Full Gospel and the most exciting moment for me was when Jimmy Hughes made arrangements fore us to go into the federal prisons or the national prisons where there were over 2000 prisoners and we had an interview with the  warden at that time and it was on national television and it was a very special moment. Especially what he said #1 that he was a born again Christian #2 when he said that he was a member of Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International And then he said something that the 34 people that were with me in that prison. We were welcome to go any place in the prison and witness to the prisoners. We had some tracts thanks to Milt Thomas from Florida and we were just grateful to have those tracts because they were in Spanish and of course most of those people were speaking mostly Spanish but we fortunate that some of them did speak English. The most exciting moment when we were there was when I had the opportunity to witness to the prisoners that were meanest ones or the worst ones. We spoke to the prisoners that were the most violent. A few of us were able to witness to the most violent prisoners. And to my amazement there were prisoners that had 666 tatooed on their forhead.  A few of us were able to minister to those people and some of them did accept Jesus but most of them were very apprehensive so it was a time of seed planting and you know we planted seeds and I God does the rest.

JOE SHAIA:  I have never seen God move in that way ever before. We went into the hospitals. We went to an Air Force base where the Chief of staff for the entire country of Honduras was there as well as the leading general of the Air Force and of course Richard spoke and shared. And then Richard had to leave and Richard had to leave and they asked me if I could share my testimony and I spoke for about 25 min., shared my testimony, about God changed my life. When I asked them if they would like to have a personal relationship with God, through his Son Jesus I was amazed to see that every person in the room stood up, including the chief of staff , and the generals. And we all recited the sinners prayer and on that day 400 people accepted Jesus into their hearts. I asked them if they wanted prayer and I was amazed to see that everyone in the room came forward.

We went to the T Shirt factory where they make T shirts for the Gap clothing stores here in America. Five of us went together and shared our testimonies and there were about 300 ladies in the area as well as in the kitchen, dining room, there were around 350 - 400  people, maybe more.  I shared about my daughter who had been stricken with terrible palsy when she was about 14 months old and could not walk and we toot her to the doctors and God totally healed her. And she began to walk. She could not walk prior to that when she was almost two years old she had never taken a step. And I shared that with young ladies and it hit home and God said “ we are overcome by the words of our testimony and the blood of the lamb.” And it was so true, it touched their hearts to hear about my young daughter being healed and I asked them if they had somebody in their family who needed to be healed. And every person in the room came forward for prayer. And then we went upstairs to work with the executives of the factory  (about 20 of the young executives ) and again we shared testimonies and again we recited the sinner’s prayer and they followed after us and we prayed for everybody in the room.
